NZ RegCo put Comvita into halt to clarify MoU

The regulator wanted more details on the listed honey company’s China update this morning.

The honey company was issued a 'please expand upon' notice by NZX's regulatory arm.

Comvita was put into a trading halt this morning by NZX regulator NZ RegCo, forcing the business to release more information about a Chinese deal which was light on financial detail. 

This morning, a memorandum of understanding between Comvita and Chinese retailer Olé was disclosed to the market
