Macquarie terminates $220m SkyCity carpark deal

Termination follows carparks not being completed following damage caused by the NZICC fire in 2019.

Macqaurie Group has pulled the pin on a $220 million deal with SkyCity to own and operate carparks at its casino in Auckland.

The deal, signed in April 2019, included a provision that the carparks, including more than 1200 in the New Zealand International Conference Centre, be handed over by October
