SenateSHJ has welcomed back Andy Cameron as a partner in its New Zealand business, following a period working offshore as New Zealand’s adviser to the International Energy Agency in Paris.

“It is always fantastic to welcome talented alumni back to the business. Andy is well regarded by both his clients and peers and we are delighted to have him back as part of our New Zealand leadership team,” SenateSHJ New Zealand managing partner Maree Wilson said.

“His experience in Europe working at the forefront of international energy policy will be welcomed by our clients in New Zealand and internationally, many of whom are either directly involved in the sector or with significant energy transition needs and goals.”

With 20 years of experience, Cameron specialises in strategic stakeholder engagement, communication, and policy advisory for clients in the private and public sectors. Based in Wellington, he works with both New Zealand and international clients.

Prior to re-joining SenateSHJ, as well as his International Energy Agency, Paris, role, he also worked for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade where he led the international and trade strands of a number of All-of-Government responses.
